MEET LISA A. WILLIAMS, MPH
Founder & Executive Advisor | Chief Coherence Officer
I am a creative architect and a namer of the unnamed. I recognize the human patterns hidden in ordinary life, give language to what people have felt but could not yet articulate, and transform those insights into frameworks that create clarity, preserve agency, and make meaningful change possible.
My perspective is grounded in more than three decades of public health communications and leadership experience, including more than 15 years in executive leadership at the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. Today, I serve as an executive advisor, educator, speaker, and thought partner to leaders, boards, institutions, and individuals navigating complex decisions, organizational change, governance, communication, and stewardship.
Through Strategic Yes™, I help people move from urgency to clarity—and from an automatic yes to a decision they can genuinely support, steward, and sustain.
MEET ROMAN, CHIEF OUTDOOR OFFICER
Roman, Chief Outdoor Officer of Strategic Yes™, works diligently each day to ensure that the philosophies, case studies, theories, principles, research, and Strategic Yes canon remain aligned—with enough margin left for him to fulfill his essential outdoor duties.
His leadership approach relies heavily on harbor energy, remaining anchored, and exercising the agency to determine when the walk is officially over.
The ideas that shape the work.
Strategic Yes™ is not simply a leadership framework. It is a human framework that happens to improve leadership.
The central question is not whether you are capable of saying yes. It is whether the conditions, responsibilities, capacity, evidence, and participation surrounding that yes can support what comes next.
A yes establishes commitment. It does not surrender authority over timing, conditions, pace, or manner of activation. A previous yes may be slowed, modified, renegotiated, or exited when conditions, capacity, evidence, responsibility, or participation change.
WHAT GUIDES THE WORK
Clarity arrives when urgency leaves.
Capacity before commitment.
A yes is not a summons.
Alignment is not a destination. It is continuous calibration.
Support is not substitution. Compliance is not participation.
Regulation does not remove the truth. It changes how the truth enters the room.
THE PRACTICE
Strategic Yes™ helps people and institutions move from urgency to clarity, from compliance to authentic participation, and from an automatic yes to a Strategic Yes.
